Senior Sales Executive

A dynamic full time position serving clients' special event production needs, producers will work as part of the Ampa team in serving clients' for meetings, decorative theme events, trade shows and other events. Market concentration will include large corporate events, associations, facilities and inter-corporate sales.

1. 5 years of sales experience in the event industry or related industries.
2. Candidates with experience as hotel, facility, catering and DMC account rep and related areas are ideal.
3. Positive individual with excellent work ethic.
4. Self starter, self motivator, independent worker.
5. Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills.
6. Experiences in all major office software.

Responsibilities Include:

1. New business development in assigned territories
2. Candidates must be able to demonstrate knowledge of the market and access to clients.
3. Candidates shall have creative authority in the designing and production phase of serving clients needs with support from AMPA's design team.
4. Handling incoming customer calls.
5. Routing customer requests outside assigned territories to appropriate staff members.
6. Working directly with clients to determine and finalize needed items for events including theme decor, lighting, production services, general equipment, etc and management services as needed.
7. Administrative tasks associated with client's order.
8. Draft proposals and contracts.
9. Interact with operational staff as a member of production team to ensure quality.
10. Interact with bookkeeping and management as needed to serve client.
11. Paticipate at events as needed and required by client.
12. Other related activities

Position may require evening and weekend event work as needed to serve your clients. Associate producers may also act as production managers in the field installing and managing a production Individual must possess a positive, outgoing nature; excellent work ethic and customer service skills; ability to work independently and take initiative. Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills. Applicant must possess computer skills (Mac preferred).

Compensation

1. Full-time
2. Salary plus comission OR draw plus comission--based on experience.
