Executive Producer
A dynamic position serving clients special event production needs, producers will work as part of the Ampa team in serving clients event needs for meeting, theme receptions, trade shows and other events. Market concentration will include large corporate events, associations, facilities and inter-corporate sales.
- 5-10 years of event experiences and/or directly related experience
- Candidates with experience as hotel, facility, catering and DMC account rep and related areas
- Positive individual with excellent work ethic
- Self starter, self motivating, independent worker
- Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Experiences in all major office software preferred
- Relocation to Richmond required
Responsibilities Include
- New business development in assigned territories.
- Candidates from the DC market must be able to demonstrate knowledge of the market and access to clients.
All other candidates must demostrate knowledge of event production services, a clear understanding of markets and access to potential clients.
- Handling incoming customer calls from the assigned territories
- Routing customer requests outside assigned territories to appropriate staff members
- Working directly with clients to determine and finalize needed items for events including
theme decor, lighting, production services, general equipment, etc and management services as needed
- Administrative tasks associated with client's order
- Draft proposals and contracts
- Interact with operational staff as a member of production team to ensure quality
- Interacting with bookkeeping and management as needed to serve client
- Attendance at events as needed and required by client
- Other related activities
Position may require evening and weekend event work as needed to serve your clients. Executive producer may also act as production managers/director in the field to service clients as productions are executed.
Compensation

- Salary starting at $40K and adjusted for experience
- Commissions based on sales goals - up to 10%
- Total compensation could exceed $65K providing sales goals are achieved and higher provide sales goals are exceeded
